Last month we sent out an appeal for basic household items to help an elderly woman and her daughter in rural Arkansas, and the response we received from donors was overwhelming!  arkansas momOur community partner in Montrose, Arkansas had rescued the two women from their home in the woods, where they had been living without electricity or heat, and found them a new home, but they had basically nothing to call their own. Thanks to many of you, box after box filled with pillows, dishes, blankets, clothing, a vacuum cleaner and much much more (even a holiday tablecloth and little reindeer!) helped welcome them into their new home.
