Monthly Drive Items for 2025

Donor families – want to do more?

Consider sending “your” family any of the monthly drive items listed below. All items must be new, unopened and unused. Please mail the items by the date alongside each suggested item. (Or drop them off in our Hastings on Hudson office if you are sponsoring a Rivertowns family.)

January 10 – Shampoo and Conditioner
February 14 – Bath Soap, Shaving Cream, Face Soap
March 14 – Paper Goods: tissues, wipes, paper towels
April 11 – Toothpaste and Toothbrushes
May 9 – First Aid Supplies: Band-Aids, antibiotic cream
June 13 – Deodorant, body creams
July 11 – Backpacks and School Supplies
August 15 – Shampoo and Conditioner
September 12 – Winter Wear: Gloves, Hats, Scarves, Thermals or, if you sponsor a family in a warm weather climate, cotton or fleece blanket or towels.
October 10 – Socks and Children’s Pajamas
November 7 – Non-perishable Thanksgiving food items
December 10 – Soap, Toothpaste, Dental Floss

SEASONAL DRIVES

Family-to-Family also sponsors separate community-wide drives:

April – PASSOVER DINNER DRIVE
July – BACKPACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES; KIDS’ FALL OR WINTER CLOTHES
November – TURKEYS
December – TOYS

Please also feel free at any time to send new warm winter clothing or bedding (sheets, pillows, or blankets) if your sponsored family needs them.

****Please note: Your donation of monthly drive or other items sent directly to a specific family/person does NOT qualify as a tax deductible expense.

Families and individuals receiving SNAP benefits (food Stamps) can’t use them to buy soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant or other personal care items.
