Pam Koner is the Executive Director of Family-to-Family, and Chairman of its Board of Directors. An entrepreneur in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, Pam developed and runs The Homework Club, a Hastings-based after-school enrichment program for older elementary and middle school children (Click
here for a New York Times article on The Homework
Club). She co-founded both The Beginner’s Club, (an offshoot of The Homework Club for children five through seven), and The Rivertown PreSchool. Pam also launched The Toddler “Messy Art” and Movement Program, a series of art-based classes for very young children, and co-founded “Java Babies”, a combined play-space/coffee bar for children and their mothers. Pam was formerly a fashion stylist and producer, and is the mother of two daughters.

Natalie
Barry recently left her 18-year career in telecommunications to
devote more time to her family and to outside interests.
Natalie is mother to two very active young children, who used
to attend Pam’s Homework Club. At a major telecommunications
firm, Natalie held the position of Director-Strategic Planning
& Business Development, and was responsible for assessing
new business opportunities for her company. Natalie
has a BA in English from Georgetown University and an MBA
in Marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business. top

Jim
O'Shea was born in Ireland and has lived in New York since
1977. Jim is married, with 2 children, a daughter (18) and
a son (16). His wife, Julie, is a Dr. of Audiology, and co-owns
a private practice in White Plains, NY. Jim works for Skanska
USA Civil Inc., a civil engineering and construction company,
in Whitestone, NY, where he is VP of Human Resources. He has
worked in HR for over 20 years, previously with companies
such as Olympus America Inc., and the Walt Disney Company.
Jim has collaborated with Pam on F-to-F since September 2003,
when he launched (and stills chairs) the Ryeneck chapter of
F-to-F supporting Pembroke, IL, along with Hastings.

Nicole
Hazard, of Rye, NY, has over 15 years’ experience
in the non-profit field. Most recently, she led the research
and development arm of the Council on Accreditation, the
preeminent standard-setting organization for social service
agencies in North America, serving over 1000 public and
private organizations. As a program manager, planner, and
policy analyst, Nicole has worked in diverse non-profit
and government settings in her career, ranging from the
community-based child welfare/mental health arena, to the
legal services and legislative advocacy field. Currently
Nicole is a full-time mother to her 4 and 1 year old daughters
and is active in several community and professional groups.
She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and holds her JD
and MSW from the University of Connecticut. top of page |

Beth
Spickler has been a practicing attorney in private practice
for more than 20 years, and practices in the areas of tax,
corporate transactions, real estate and estate planning. She
is a graduate of Pace School of Law and The University of
Maryland, is admitted to practice law in New York, and before
the U.S. Supreme Court, the Southern District of New York
and the Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the
New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association
and the Women’s Bar Association of Westchester County.
She is also the Treasurer of Family to Family and provides
legal and management advice to the organization on a variety

Lisa Eggert Litvin, an attorney, is currently at home full-time with her two children. She formerly clerked in the Southern District of New York, practiced as a litigator in Manhattan and taught at Hofstra Law School. She was a founding partner of Writers’ Resources, specializing in business and legal writing. Lisa was a member of the Federal Courts Committee of the Bar Association of the City of New York, and chaired the Subcommittee on Federal Civil Rules. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University, where she graduated in the top 2 percent of her class. She currently serves on the board of Earthjustice, a non-profit environmental protection group. top
