Monthly Drive Items for 2015

Drop-Off Dates, Mailing Dates & Monthly Drives

If you are part of a donating chapter…. either one that sends food boxes, or one that gives online through our cyber-sponsorship program, your boxes and/or your monthly drive items should be dropped off with your chapter chair each month on or before the dates listed below.

Next to each date is the month’s suggested monthly drive item.

HASTINGS and DOBBS FERRY DONORS: The dates below are also the drop-off due dates for grocery gift cards.

If you’re an individual family sponsor (not part of a chapter), please mail your optional monthly drive items by the end of the second week of each month.

Food Box Donors: Click here for shopping list.

Chapter Chairs: After your chapter’s families have dropped off their items, please mail your boxes to your receiving community on the Monday or Tuesday following the drop-off date.

Family-to-Family also sponsors separate community-wide drives:

In December, chapter chairs are invited to organize a gently-used or new toy drive to supply their receiving community with toys, wrapping paper, tape and ribbon. This way, families in need can “shop for” (no funds needed) age-appropriate gifts for their own children. Our mission here is to have each family experience the joy of giving for themselves. Any chapter chair who wishes to participate in a toy drive for their community, please contact your community partner and let them know. Read more.

Please also feel free at any time to send warm winter clothing or bedding (sheets, pillows, or blankets) if your sponsored family needs them. We support the notion of recycling gently used items in good condition.

****Please note: Your donation of monthly drive or other items sent directly to a specific family/person does NOT qualify as a tax deductible expense.
