Red Bird Mission August Suggested Shopping List — Drop-off date is August 16th. Please use this list as the basic monthly list for each month (click here for printable version).

Please remember - do not send glass jars, fresh food, or bread in your monthly boxes. While they are a wonderful idea, the jars break and the food often spoils before delivery. Due to breakage, we are no longer sending household cleaning products (plastic or glass) or any aerosol cans in the deliveries. And please, no syrup.

Our drive for this month: Soap and toothpaste.

6 cans soup 4 boxes mac and cheese 2 lbs pasta 3 cans mixed veggies 1 jar peanut butter 1 box unsweetened cereal 2 cans tomato sauce 2 bags navy or pinto beans 2 cans generic tuna 2 cans fruit (lite syrup or unsweetened) 1 box hamburger helper or 2 cans sloppy-jo   Below is a list of additional items to add to your box if you wish to do so: onions flour sugar pancake mix cake mix noodle soups oatmeal garlic herbs raisins cans of fruit corn bread mix box of crackers hot sauce cereal
