Hands-On Giving Projects

and More

Consider a giving project for children that fosters compassion and encourages a life-long habit of giving to others. Decorate, fill and send a birthday party in a box to a child in need; turn your child’s birthday or religious celebration into a “giving party”; collect gently used children’s party clothes for kids with “less”, or organize a book drive to get books into the hands of book-hungry kids, moms and dads.

Help your students develop empathy and compassion through our hands-on classroom projects. Link your class with a class of children living in poverty through ‘Class-to-Class’ or ‘Travelling Journal’… organize a book drive so that children with less can be “givers” through ‘Books on the Move’… or help your students adopt a local food pantry by joining ‘Kids Can!’. If your own community needs literacy support…. bring ‘GivingWorks!‘ to your school.

Help provide a specific family or food pantry with much needed monthly groceries.  Sponsor a family, help your local community’s pantry with monthly donations of what it needs the most, or even have your school “adopt” a struggling food pantry and help keep it stocked year round. Or even donate much needed vegetable seeds to an impoverished rural community!

Service Projects

These projects provide concrete, hands-on group giving opportunities perfect for corporate volunteers, religious groups, boy and girl scouts, bar/bat mitzvahs and more.  We’ll match you up with an organization that needs your donations.
