| Monthly Drive Items
for 2012
Drop-Off Dates, Mailing Dates & Monthly Drives If you are part of a donating chapter…. either one that sends food boxes, or one that gives online through our cyber-sponsorship program, see below for the Saturday dates by which you should deliver your boxes and/or your monthly drive items to your chapter chair’s drop-off location. Next to each date is the month’s suggested monthly drive item. If you’re an individual family sponsor (not part of a chapter), please mail your optional monthly drive items by the end of the second week of each month. Food Box Donors: Chapter Chairs: After your chapter’s families have dropped off their items, please mail your boxes to your receiving community on the Monday or Tuesday following the drop-off date. |

| September 15 | Gently used gloves, hats and scarves |
| October 20 | Socks and children's pajamas |
| November 10 | Non-perishable Thanksgiving food items |
| December 15 | Shampoo and conditioner |

Please note that F-to-F also sponsors separate In July, please consider sending a backpack, filled with school supplies to a child in need. Read more. In November, sponsors can donate $15 online through our website to purchase a Thanksgiving turkey and one side dish for their sponsored family. Read more. In December, chapter chairs are invited to organize a gently-used or new toy drive to supply their receiving community with toys, wrapping paper, tape and ribbon. This way, families in need can "shop for" (no funds needed) age-appropriate gifts for their own children. Our mission here is to have each family experience the joy of giving for themselves. Any chapter chair who wishes to participate in a toy drive for their community, please contact your community partner and let them know. Read more. Please also feel free at any time to send warm winter clothing or bedding (sheets, pillows, or blankets) if your sponsored family needs them. We support the notion of recycling; when appropriate please send gently used items. |
